SOMATO became a member of GAMIAN

President of NGO Somato, dr. Jana Chihai, participated in Anual General Meeting (AGM) and Convention organized by Global Alliance of Mental Illness Advocacy Networks-Europe (GAMIAN) and focused on the issues of Depression and comorbidities, that took place in Bucharest on 29-31st of March 2019.

We are happy to inform you that during this event, Somato received full membership in GAMIAN.

Now we are a part of a patient-driven pan-European organisation, representing the interests of persons affected by mental illness and that advocates for their rights. Main objectives of GAMIAN are: advocacy, information and education, anti-stigma and discrimination, patients’ rights, co-operation, partnerships and capacity building.
